About Dr. Kunal Bhanot MD MSc FRCSC

Spine Surgeon

Meet Dr. Kunal Bhanot

Dr. Kunal Bhanot is an orthopaedic spine and trauma surgeon with operating privileges at several hospitals in Ontario. He completed his fellowship training at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto after finishing his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Toronto, where he was awarded the Dr. Borna Meisami Postgraduate Award for most compassionate graduating resident.

Dr. Bhanot obtained his medical degree from McMaster University, after pursuing undergraduate training in biopsychology at Trent University and graduate work in musculoskeletal molecular medicine at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

 

In 2019 Dr. Bhanot was awarded the British Association of Spinal Surgeons and British Scoliosis Society Travelling Fellowship. His current research interests are in patient safety and informed consent improvement.

Dr. Bhanot was appointed COO of Linkedhealth (www.linkedhealth.ca) in 2020 and continues to incorporate virtual care into his practice.
