About Dr. Gemah Moammer

Dr. Gemah Moammer is the head of the spinal surgery program at Grand River Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and Cambridge Memorial Hospital. He is a senior consultant in spinal surgeon at the Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. He completed his orthopaedic surgery training and specialist fellowship in orthopaedic trauma and spinal surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Moammer has also completed a Master’s degree in international health leadership from McGill University.

His current research interests are in biomedical studies, artificial intelligence and machine learning in the context of spinopelvic alignment.
